In one of my first blogs from the World Cross Country Championships in Mombasa, Kenya, I talked about US junior team leader Craig Virgin, who ran at the University of Illinois, being on the phone during practice with one of his competitors from the 1970's, Joshua Kimeto from Washington State University.

Well, those two were reunited at the World Cross Country Championships. This photo that I shot of the two (Josh is on the left) ended up being published in the May edition of Track & Field News! This is the first time I've had a photo published in "The Bible of the Sport", so needless to say, I'm pretty stoked!

In my first blog, I questioned the talented 400 meter runner Alex Harcourt from the University of Washington.

At the Pac-10 championships at Stanford University last weekend, Harcourt finished second in the 400 meters with a personal best of 45.87, the third fastest in Husky history, and the fastest time recorded at the UW since 2000.

Harcourt is now ranked among the top 400 meter runners in the NCAA this season, and has a pretty good chance to qualify for the NCAA championships in Sacramento next month if he can get past the NCAA West Regional meet next week in Eugene.
