NCAA Friday happenings...
Some quick stuff from the press box here in Sacramento:
In the heptathlon, Julie Pickler of Washington State stands fifth after six events, with a current score of 4962 points.
Shelton HS standout Nick Owens finished second in the hammer, with a toss of 233-7. Adam Midles of USC (Capital HS, Olympia) was fifth at 225-0, and the Huskies' Martin Bingisser placed sixth at 222-1.
Don't forget to catch the meet tonight (8pm eastern) on CSTV.
