LIGNANO, Italy--Jordan McNamara (left/photo courtesy jordanmcnamara.wordpress.com), an alum of Auburn/Riverside HS, scored his third consecutive personal best on his current European tour, finishing second in the 1500 at the 22nd Meeting Internazionale di Atletica Leggera.

McNamara, who spent most of the 2010 season injured, ran 3:37.19 to finish second to Ethiopia's Henok Legesse, who crossed the line at 3:36.45.

In the race, McNamara spent the vast majority in about fifth or sixth place, before making a pair decisive moves--one after the 1200 meter mark, and exiting the final turn.
