Märt Israel gets sixth at DN Galan meet in Stockholm...

STOCKHOLM, Sweden--Former University of Washington discus thrower Märt Israel of Estonia (left/photo by Paul Merca) finished sixth in the men's discus at the DN Galan meeting at the Olympic Stadium as the Samsung Diamond League series continued.

Israel threw 203-9 (62.11m) as the legendary Virgilijus Alekna of Lithuania bested the field with a toss of 213-5 (65.05m).

Another former Washington Husky, Norway's Ingvill Måkestad, finished sixth in the B section of the women's 800, running 2:03.09, as Molly Beckwith of the United States won the section in 2:00.33, and Jamaica's Kenia Sinclair took the overall victory at 1:58.21.

In the featured men's 200, Jamaica's Usain Bolt won decisively in 20.03.
