The event features members of the Husky women's team that tied for fourth place at the NCAA indoor track meet& field championships in March in Virginia Beach, VA., which was the first time a Washington women's track team had made the podium in school history.
At the NCAA indoor championships, the Huskies all got points from the athletes they traveled, led by a 1-2 finish in the pole vault by twins Amanda and Hana Moll.
They scored an eighth place finish in the distance medley relay from the team of Julia David-Smith, Anna Terrell, Claire Yerby and Mia Cochran.
On the meet's final day, Amina Maatoug and Chloe Foerster finished together in fifth and sixth places in the mile, then two hours later, Maatoug returned to finish fourth in the 3000.
All told, the Huskies scored 31 team points to finish in a three-way tie for fourth. eclipsing the 1988 team's eighth place finish. It also bested the most points scored at nationals. The previous high point total was 16 in 1988 and 2016.
Members of the team will answer questions from fans, moderated by Rough & Tumble Pub owner Jen Barnes.
The meet and greet gets underway at 6:30 pm.
