Michael Berry named to Team USA 4 x 400 relay pool for USA vs the World at Penn Relays...

INDIANAPOLIS—Rainier Beach HS graduate Michael Berry (left/photo by Paul Merca) was named by USA Track & Field Monday as one of five members of the Team USA relay pool for the Nike men’s 4 x 400 meter relay that will be contested in the USA vs the World segment of the Penn Relays on Saturday.

Berry, who finished second at the 2014 NCAA championships in the 400 in Eugene, joins Kyle Clemons, Patrick Feeney, Clayton Parros and Brycen Spratling on the USA 4 x 400 pool.

USA vs. the World at the Penn Relays will air live on NBCSN from 12:30-3 p.m. ET Saturday, with international teams competing in six relays: men’s and women’s 4x100m, 4x200m and 4x400m.

USA vs. the World kicks off two exciting relay-filled weeks for Team USA, as the defending Golden Baton champions head to the Bahamas to take on the world at the 2015 IAAF World Relays on Saturday and Sunday, May 2-3.
