Washington State alum Ian Waltz will contest the discus against a field of local throwers.

Brie Felnagle from Tacoma drops down in distance to the 800 meters against a field of predominantly Americans, including Maggie Vessey, Alice Schmidt, Geena Gall, Treniere Moser, and Morgan Uceny.

Washington alum Katie Follett moves up in distance to the 5000, with again a field of predominantly American runners including Olympians Jen Rhines and Amy Yoder Begley, along with Amy Hastings and Angela Bizzari, both of whom are chasing the IAAF "A" standard in that event of 15:14.00 to assure a three-woman Team USA squad for next month's world championships.
