Sanu Jallow-Lockhart and Gary Martin join Brooks Beasts...
Already stacked with talents like Josh Kerr, Valery Tobias, and Brandon Miller of the Seattle based Brooks Beasts, and the pros who continue to train under University of Washington coach Andy Powell, including Sam Prakel, Nathan Green and Joe Waskom, Brooks announced the signing of Arkansas' Sanu Jallow-Lockhart (David Oh/Brooks Running) and Virginia's Gary Martin.
Jallow-Lockhart, a Gambian Olympian at 800 meters two years ago in Paris, was a multi time All American at Arkansas, after starting her career at Texas A&M.
Her 2026 outdoor campaign was historic, highlighted by an NCAA championship victory in the 800m in a collegiate-record 1:56.85, breaking the previous NCAA mark held by Olympic champion Athing Mu. She was also named USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Co-Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year and helped Arkansas capture the NCAA 4x400m relay title.

Martin (Suvir Grover/Brooks Running), also a multi-time All-American in both track and cross country for the University of Virginia, joins the Beasts sporting a personal best of 3:48.82 in the mile and 3:33.41 in the 1500.
“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Gary—a fierce competitor, a proven winner, and a grounded, team-first athlete off the track,” said Derek Lactaeon, Brooks' Sports Marketing Manager. “He represents the future of American distance running, and we’re proud to support him as he continues to push boundaries, compete at the highest level, and inspire the next generation.”
Martin said, "Joining the Beasts will allow me to take my career to the next level and compete for medals on a national and global level. I am very excited to start training with all of the talented athletes on the team and to get to work with Danny Mackey and the rest of the staff."
