Quick notes on Kara Patterson & Bernard Lagat...

Here are two quick notes from the professional track & field ranks:

Javelin thrower Kara Patterson writes about the technical aspects of throwing the javelin in the latest entry in her blog.

After training elsewhere and visiting friends and family over the last few weeks, she has settled back down in Chula Vista at the US Olympic Training Center.

You can read her latest entry here.

Meanwhile, media partner Flotrack has a video posted on its site with University of Arizona distance coach James Li, a former Washington State University assistant coach, who also happens to coach Bernard Lagat.

Li talks about his relationship with Lagat, and how his training has evolved from his time at Washington State to the present.

Lagat is scheduled to make his 2011 season debut at the Millrose Games in New York on January 28th.
