Jordan McNamara, Katie Follett & Brie Felnagle set to race in Liege Wednesday...

LIEGE, Belgium--Auburn/Riverside graduate Jordan McNamara (left/photo courtesy jordanmcnamara.wordpress.com), fresh off a victory and a personal best in the mile of 3:56.82 in Dublin last week, is among the entries in Wednesday night's Meeting International d'Athletisme de la Province de Liege.

McNamara, the University of Oregon grad now competing for the Oregon TC Elite/Eugene, is entered in the men's 3000, where he'll face a field with a number of runners familiar to college track & field fans, including Australian David McNeill and American Lopez Lomong (No. Arizona); Ciaran O'Lionaird from Ireland (Florida St); Evan Jager (Wisconsin); and Garrett Heath (Stanford).

Other athletes with Washington ties entered in the meet include Washington alum Katie Follett and Bellarmine HS grad Brie Felnagle, who are both running the 1500.

In Karlsruhe, Germany, former Husky Brad Walker tied for third Tuesday in a street vault won by Sergey Kucheryanu of Russia.

Walker cleared 18-1 1/4 (5.52m) to finish in a five-way tie for third, as Kucheryanu won with a leap of 18-5 1/4 (5.62m) over Steven Lewis of Great Britain on fewer misses, as they were the only two to clear 18-5 1/4.
