In the opening men's 10k race, the number 9 ranked Vikings packed their top five in the top 25 early, and made sure they were up front within striking distance of favorite and number 6 ranked Chico State.

WOMEN'S RECAP...

In the women's 6k race, the beginning of the race looked like a repeat of several head to head races between the Alaska Fairbanks duo of Rosie Fordham and Kendall Kramer, and Seattle Pacific's Annika Esvelt (photo courtesy GNAC/WWU Athletics), as the trio broke away from the field early.

In the end, Fordham took the victory in 19:53, with teammate Kramer second in 20:07. Esvelt faded to sixth, crossing the line in 20:48.

The team race came down to Chico State and Western Washington, with the Wildcats winning by a closer than expected 40-54 margin. Biola earned the final automatic qualifying spot into the nationals in third with 137 points.

Matise Mulch was 49th in 22:18, Madelyn Buckley was 82nd in 22:56, and Anna Prussian was 83rd in 22:58. The Falcons' 1-5 split was 2:10.
