Usain Bolt--9.72 for the Jamaican over 100 meters at the Reebok Grand Prix meet in New York!

Double damn as Michelle Turner and Katie Follett of the University of Washington go 1-2 in the women's 1500 at the NCAA West Regionals in Northridge, California!!

Triple damn as freshman sensation Jeshua Anderson of Washington State lowers his PR in the 400 hurdles to 49.41 to win the NCAA West Regionals!!!

And, quadruple damn as incoming University of Washington freshman Christine Babcock wins the CIF California state meet in the 1600 meters, running a national high school federation record time of 4:33.82 in Cerritos!!!!

That's not counting the outstanding performances by Jordan Hasay, Laurynne Chetelat and German Fernandez in that meet!!!

There were many other outstanding performances Saturday at the pro, college, and prep levels...this weekend was a great weekend to follow track and field!!!

PS--When Jeremy Wariner getting beat in the 400m and Pamela Jelimo setting a world junior record in the 800m in the Berlin Golden League meet barely gets a mention, you know you've witnessed a great weekend!
