Ingvill Måkestad Bovin finishes eleventh at European Championships...

HELSINKI, Finland--Former University of Washington standout Ingvill Måkestad Bovin finished 11th in the finals of the women's 1500 on the final day of the European Championships at the Olympic Stadium.

Måkestad Bovin ran 4:13.32 as Asli Cakir-Alptekin and Gamze Bulut of Turkey finished 1-2, crossing the line in 4:05.31, and 4:06.04, respectively, with Anna Mishchenko of Ukraine third in 4:07.74.
