Both Husky squads in top 25 in latest USTFCCCA national computer team rankings...

NEW ORLEANS—Both University of Washington squads are now ranked in the USTFCCCA national top 25 in its computer team rankings released Monday by the coaches’ association.

The Washington men dropped three spots from number 17 to number 20, while the women roared 23 spots, thanks to its convincing win in the distance medley relay at the UW Invitational on Friday, anchored by Maddie Meyers (left/photo by Paul Merca).

The nation’s top five men’s teams are Florida, Georgia, Texas A&M, Oregon, and Texas Tech.

Other MPSF schools in the national men’s top 25 include #9 BYU, #10 USC, #11 Colorado, and #17 Stanford.

On the women’s side, the nation’s top five teams are Arkansas, Georgia, Oregon, USC, and Florida.

Number 16 Stanford is the only other MPSF school in the national top 25.
