Hosting a track & field photo roundtable with Jeff Cohen, Alisha Lovrich & Howard Lao next week...

Photographers Jeff Cohen (above/photo courtesy Jeff Cohen), Alisha Lovrich, and Howard Lao will be the subjects of A CONVERSATION WITH: next week, as the site will host a roundtable discussion with them on covering track and field.

All three have considerable experience covering track and field at the international and national level, with each having shot several World Athletics track and field championships, both indoors and outdoors.

Those of you who have been long-time readers of the site are familiar with Howard's work, as he's been a contributor to the site, after finishing up his career as a hurdler at the University of Washington.

In advance of Tuesday's taping of the roundtable, paulmerca.blogspot.com is reaching out to you, the readers, to ask them any questions about their work, the process in which they go about their work, what makes a great photo, how they got started covering the sport, tips to get better shots at the next race, etc.

World Athletics featured the upcoming roundtable with Alisha, Howard, and Jeff on their site Friday in its column, called The New Normal: Life in the time of coronavirus.

Please don't hesitate to leave your questions by clicking on the envelope at the bottom of this post, or on my Twitter or Instagram feed.

After the taping, we will post the roundtable here on the site, and on our YouTube page.

In the meantime, if you click on the names of each of the panelists above, it will take you directly to their Instagram page where you can see their work.
