A couple of notes to pass along:

Portland Track announced that the Portland Track Festival - Youth Meet and Portland Track Festival - High Performance meets for 2020 have officially been cancelled, due to the current coronavirus pandemic.

The two meets were scheduled to run May 30-31 (youth) and June 4-5 (high performance) at Lewis & Clark College.

Portland Track did state that the Stumptown Twilight meet, originally scheduled for June 12, is postponed for the meantime, but will go when cleared by state and local officials.

The organization plans to introduce a new meet, called SoundTrack sometime in August.

Last Thursday, the Wanda Diamond League announced that the Nike Prefontaine Classic, scheduled for June 7th at Hayward Field in Eugene, was postponed, along with the meet in Paris on June 13th.

Finally, former Puget Sound native and Oregon alum Devon Allen is on the move again, as he's left his training base in the Phoenix area to reunite with Jamie Cook, who coached him during his time with the Ducks.

Cook is now the head coach at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis.
