Ebba Jungmark in finals of European U23 Championships...

KAUNAS, Lithuania--Former Washington State University standout high jumper Ebba Jungmark qualified Thursday for Saturday's finals in the European Athletics U23 Championships in Kaunas, Lithuania.

The 2008 NCAA indoor high jump champion cleared 5-10 3/4 (1.80 m) to advance to Saturday's final.

Jungmark, a member of Sweden's world championship team in 2007, left Washington State after competing for the Cougars in 2008. She was third in the 2007 European U23 meet, and has a 2009 season best of 5-11 1/4 (1.81 m).

Jungmark's personal best is 6-3 1/2 (1.92 m) set in 2007.
