MONTE CARLO, Monaco--Team USA members Brad Walker and Ginnie Powell continue their tuneups for next month's IAAF World Track & Field Championships as they compete in Tuesday's Herculis Meeting.
Walker, the former University of Washington All-American and 2007 world outdoor champion in the pole vault hopes to bounce back from a disappointing performance Saturday in London, where he failed to clear a height.
Powell, formerly from Seattle's Rainier Beach HS, last competed on July 17th in Paris, where she finished third in a time of 12.81 in the 100 meter hurdles, behind reigning Olympic champion Dawn Harper (12.68), and reigning world champ Michelle Perry (12.75).
The Monte Carlo meet can be viewed online via UniversalSports.com Tuesday beginning at 11:05 am, Pacific time (2:05 pm, Eastern time).
