Brie Felnagle talks about the recruiting process...
With Wednesday National Letter of Intent day for high school track and field athletes to sign with colleges, we thought that we would post another in a series of videos, courtesy of adidas, with Tacoma's Brie Felnagle (left, in green/photo by Paul Merca).
In this short piece, Felnagle talks about the recruiting process, and the help she received from her parents, along with coaches and teachers at Tacoma's Bellarmine Prep HS in finding the balance between her athletic career and academic growth.
As the local schools release the names via their sports information offices, we will post them. We do know that Northwest School's Maddie Meyers, the national high school record holder in the 2000 meter steeplechase whom we interviewed last week at the Seattle Sports Star of the Year Awards show, is expected to sign her national letter of intent with the University of Washington.
