WSU hosts Cougar Team Scoring Meet vs UCLA, Idaho, Montana & Utah State...
PULLMAN--Washington State hosts Idaho, Montana, UCLA and Utah State in the Cougar Indoor Team Scoring meet at the WSU Indoor Facility, along with a separate men's heptathlon and women's pentathlon competition.
Action in the multi-events gets underway Friday at 2:30 pm, and will also include competition in the weight throws, along with the men's long jump and pole vault.
For this meet, the dual meet scoring is 5-3-1 for individual events, and 5-0 relays.
Most of the Cougar distance runners will see action, as they did not travel to Albuquerque for last week's Cherry and Silver invitational.
Reigning Pac-10 triple jump champ Stephan Scott-Ellis (above/photo courtesy WSU Athletics) will be in action for WSU. On the women's side, one of the best events to watch will be the women's pole vault, pitting Utah State's Sonia Grabowska against UCLA's Tori Anthony.
