In Greeley, Colorado, Carter Ledwith and Rees Jacot were the top finishers for Eastern Washington University Saturday at the Big Sky Conference championship meet hosted by the University of Northern Colorado Saturday.
A young Eastern program was met with a lot of intense competition at this year's conference championship meet as the men finished in ninth place overall, while the women finished in 10th. Both of Eastern's teams mainly consisted of underclassmen. Of the eight racers Saturday on the women's team, none were juniors or seniors and only three of the eight men's runners were upperclassmen.

On the men’s side, number 1 ranked Northern Arizona continued its dominance of the conference, placing three runners in the top 3, led by freshman winner Drew Bosley, who ran 26:51 over the snowy course.
It was no different on the women’s side, as Northern Arizona completed the sweep of both conference titles. Camila Noe of Montana State was the individual winner in 17:42 for 5k, while Northern Arizona packed four runners in the top ten.
