WEEKEND ROUNDUP: Nageotte & Allen in season openers indoors; Flanagan tunes up for Trials in Houston...

Some quick results from meets we missed over the weekend:

In Reno Friday night, former Pullman resident Katie Nageotte (left/photo by Paul Merca), working off a short runup, finished in a tie for third in the women's elite pole vault at the National Pole Vault Summit.

Nageotte cleared 14-5.25 (4.40m) as Lisa Gunnarsson won with a best of 14-9 (4.50m).

In the second section of the women's elite pole vault, West Seattle HS grad Chloe Cunliffe, who elected to turn pro instead of going to Washington State University, finished seventh with a clearance of 13-1.5 (4.00m).

Both Maggard and Hauger will be on the US national team that will compete in the Pan Am Cross Country Championships on February 29th in Victoria, BC.

In the women's 10k race, Inglemoor HS alum Tansey Lystad finished seventh in a time of 37:12, as Natosha Rogers took the national title in 35:45.
