Saint Martin’s University returns GNAC men’s champion John Riak, while Annie Lawreyson is their top returning women’s runner…coach Kevin Adkisson faces a rebuilding year at Central Washington, as the Wildcats have two runners returning from the team that finished fourth in last year’s GNAC meet in sophs Jeff Knutson, and Scott Power. Senior Marcie Mullen is their top returning runner…
Junior Emily Timmer from the University of Puget Sound is the Loggers’ top returning runner. Timmer won the college-division race at last year’s Sundodger Invitiational…at Evergreen State, the Geoducks return three letter winners to their women’s team, including Emily Uhlig, and welcome double state 1B champ Karissa Carlson from Pateros.
Besides the Sundodger Invitational, some key meets around the state this fall include the Western Washington Invitational on October 11th, the Cascade Conference preview meet at Lincoln Park and the Eastern Washington University Invitational on October 18th, and the GNAC Championships in Yakima on October 25th.
