David Kinsella interview on Trackshark.com...

After the departure through graduation of Olympic Trials 10000m qualifiers John Moore and Michael Kilburg, both of whom were Western Washington prep runners, Kinsella, who competed at Bothell High School, carries on the proud Portland Pilot torch.

Portland has been the dominant program in the West Coast Conference, and has recruited and most importantly, developed runners with solid but not outstanding prep credentials, under the tutelage of coach Rob Conner.

Over the next few years, it will be interesting to see how Portland and Gonzaga, with Pat Tyson, and Seattle, with Trish Steidl, carves up the talent pool.
