Washington alum Gianna Woodruff (Paul Merca photo) and Washington State alum CJ Allen, along with Josh Kerr of the Seattle-based Brooks Beasts, will all race in the fifth stop of the Wanda Diamond League tour,  the Bislett Games in Oslo, Norway on Thursday .

Woodruff, currently fourth in the Diamond League standings with 8 points, goes in the women's 400 hurdles as the first race of the television window just after 11 am Pacific (Peacock.tv $). She faces a field that includes Femke Bol of the Netherlands, Rushell Clayton of Jamaica, and heptathlete Anna Hall of the United States.

In the penultimate race of the evening (12:39 pm Pacific time), Allen, who is the Diamond League points leader in the men's 400 hurdles going into the Bislett Games with 15 points, faces the world record holder and defending Olympic champion Karsten Warhol on home turf.

Allen will also face Wilfried Happio of France, currently second in the Diamond League standings, as well as fellow Americans Trevor Bassitt and Khallifah Rosser.

All of this leads to the final race of Thursday's program, the men's 1500, which is being touted as a possible world record assault by hometown hero and defending Olympic champion Jakob Ingebrigtsen, fresh off setting a world best of 7:54.10 last Friday at the Meeting de Paris Diamond League meet.

Josh Kerr of the Brooks Beasts, the Olympic bronze medalist from the United Kingdom, is in the race, as well as Olympic silver medalist and former world champion Timothy Cheruiyot of Kenya. American Yared Nuguse and Ollie Hoare of New Zealand, currently second and third behind Ingebrigtsen in the Diamond League standings in the 1500, are also in the field.

Former Husky Sam Tanner posted on his Instagram page that he hoped to be on the line as well, but his management team could not get him a spot, despite him flying over to Norway from New Zealand. He will race in Nice, France on Saturday.

The start list for the Bislett Games is available here. The meet will be streamed on Peacock TV ($) starting at 11 am, Pacific.
