Pole vaulter Hana Moll of Washington named USTFCCCA women's outdoor field event athlete of 2025...
NEW ORLEANS--University of Washington pole vaulter Hana Moll (Paul Merca photo) was named by the USTFCCCA as its 2025 Women's Outdoor National Field Athlete of the Year, becoming the first Husky to receive the honors.
She is also the first women's pole vaulter to win the national award since 2011, when Arkansas' Tina Sutej won the award.
The USTFCCCA national field event athlete of the year for the 2025 season stays in the Moll household, as twin sister Amanda earned the honor after winning the NCAA indoor pole vault title.
Hana, a native of Olympia, shattered the collegiate record and won the national title in the pole vault at the NCAA DI Outdoor Championships. The Washington standout cleared a PR 4.79m (15-8.5) and eclipsed her twin sister’s former CR by 1cm. Earlier in the season, Moll finished runner-up in the pole vault to Amanda at the Big Ten Championships.
Hana was named both the Big Ten Women's Field Athlete of the Year and USTFCCCA West Region Women's Field Athlete of the Year.
