The middle distance runner began her athletic journey in Italy, where she quickly rose through youth ranks, winning a national U-16 title in the 1000m.

She moved from Italy to attend school at the University of Portland, where she made seven appearances at the NCAA indoor and outdoor track and field championships, placing seventh in the 2025 outdoor championships in a personal best 2:00.84 over 800 meters to earn her only All-America certificate on the track.

On the international stage, Pellicoro was the 2023 World University Games 800 and 1500 meter champion for Italy, taking the double in Chengdu, China.

In addition to her 800 PR set at the NCAA finals, she holds personal bests of 2:37.04 at 1000 meters, 4:25.60 in the mile, and 8:53.32 in the 3000.
