Top eight Paris Olympic track & field finishers who have competed at The Podium...
After making its debut on December 12, 2021, The Podium in Spokane has become one of the West Coast's destination venues for indoor track and field, thanks to its 200 meter banked hydraulic track, which is the first west of the Mississippi.
While it's only been around less than three seasons, a good number of top-eight finishers from the Paris Olympics have competed at The Podium.
Grant Holloway (Paul Merca photo) in the men's 110 hurdles, Cole Hocker in the men's 1500, Ryan Crouser in the men's shot put, and Camryn Rogers in the women's hammer are the four Olympic champions who have competed at The Podium in its short existence.
Most of the top eight finishers on this list competed at the 2022 USA Indoor Track & Field Championships that The Podium hosted. There are a few on this list who competed at other meets, notably the Lilac Grand Prix, the MPSF championship meet, the Great Northwest Athletic Conference championship, and the Washington State University series of meets in 2022 and 2023.
If we've missed anyone, please drop us a note.
