Washington to ditch Nike?

In the Husky Football blog, the Seattle Times' Bob Condotta writes that the University of Washington, which currently is contracted to Nike until July 1, 2009, is thinking of going with either Under Armour or adidas when the contract expires.

This will have an effect on just about all teams that Washington sponsors, including track and cross country.
