KAMASI ENTERS NCAA TRANSFER PORTAL...

In an Instagram post, Washington State javelin thrower Atina Kamasi (left/photo courtesy WSU Athletics) announced that she is entering the NCAA transfer portal.

Athletes who are exploring or desiring to transfer to another NCAA institution must first place themselves in the transfer portal before they can move to another school and compete.

Kamasi had an outstanding freshman season in 2017, winning the Dual against the University of Washington, then finished fifth in the Pac-12s.

The native of Novi Sad, Serbia finished sixth at last year's Pac-12 meet at Stanford a few weeks after setting a personal best of 175-1 (53.36m) in winning the Dual again.

Kamasi has struggled with a knee injury and has not thrown at all this season.
