Marcus Chambers selected for Team USATF relay pool for USA Vs. The World...
A couple of notes:
Tacoma’s Marcus Chambers (left/photo by Paul Merca) was selected by USA Track & Field to be part of the relay pool for Saturday’s USA Vs. The World at the 125th Penn Relays in Philadelphia.
Chambers is part of a group of athletes that will run either in the 4 x 400 relay or the sprint medley (200/200/400/800) relay. The USA will enter two teams in both relay events.
USA Track & Field will announce the team composition one hour before the race.
Coverage of Saturday’s USA Vs. The World at Penn Relays will be on NBCSN from 9:30-noon pacific time.

The USTFCCCA Monday released week 4 of the Division I National Track & Field Rating Index, and the Washington Husky women’s team is ranked #22, a drop of five spots from last week’s rankings.
The nation’s top five women’s teams are in order: Arkansas, Kentucky, Texas A&M, USC and Florida.
Other Pac-12 schools ranked in the national top 25 include #10 Oregon, #19 Colorado, #20 Stanford, #23 Arizona State, and #24 UCLA.
On the men’s side, the Huskies are inching their way up, moving from #62 to #46, but are still out of the national top 25.
The nation’s top mens’ teams are in order: Texas Tech, LSU, Texas A&M, Alabama, and Houston.
Pac-12 teams ranked in the top 25 include #8 USC, #9 Stanford, #14 Arizona, #18 Oregon, and #21 UCLA.
The USTFCCCA Division II rankings will be released Tuesday.
