Grand Slam Track makes its debut this weekend in Kingston...
After all the hype starting back in June with the signing of Josh Kerr (Paul Merca photo) of the Seattle based Brooks Beasts as its first Racer, Grand Slam Track makes its long awaited debut Friday through Sunday at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.
Washington State alum CJ Allen will make his 2025 season debut Friday as one of the four Challengers in the 400 hurdles.

The field includes Racers Roshawn Clarke of Jamaica, Caleb Dean of the USA, Alison dos Santos of Brazil, and Clement Ducos of France.
Allen's fellow Challengers include Malik James-King and Assinie Wilson of Jamaica, and American Chris Robinson.
Kerr opens up his outdoor campaign by running the 1500 on Saturday, then turning around on Sunday to run the 800.
Kerr's fellow Racers include Olympic 1500m champ Cole Hocker and bronze medalist Yared Nuguse of the USA, and Canada's Marco Arop. The list of Challengers include Kenya's Emmanuel Wanyonyi, the USA's Bryce Hoppel, Spain's Mohamed Attaoui, and Great Britain's Neil Gourley.
All Racers are contracted by GST to run in the four meets of the circuit: Kingston this weekend; Miami on May 2-4; Philadelphia on May 30-June 1; and Los Angeles on June 27-29.
Grand Slam Track also announced its broadcast crew for the four meets, led by former world record holder and Olympic silver medalist Steve Cram, who has been a mainstay of the British Broadcasting Company's Olympic and world championship coverage as both a play-by-play announcer and an analyst.
He'll be joined by Carrie Tollefson and Washington State alum Anson Henry as analysts.
Tollefson is a five-time NCAA champion and 2004 Olympian in the 1500m. She has established herself as a respected voice in distance running commentary with experience covering major marathons and track events for multiple networks.
Henry, a former Canadian Olympic sprinter who competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, offers viewers expert analysis of sprint events drawing from his technical knowledge of sprinting mechanics and race strategy. As a broadcaster he has covered multiple world championships.
All four meets of the Grand Slam Track circuit will be streamed by Peacock al three days ($), and televised on The CW (KUNS channel 51 in Seattle; 112 on Seattle area Comcast) on Saturday and Sunday.
