The US pro circuit resumes Saturday & Sunday with LA Grand Prix at USC...

While the NCAA track and field championships are finishing up in Eugene, the domestic pro circuit returns to Los Angeles for the USATF LA Grand Prix at Allyson Felix Field & Katherine Loker Track Stadium on the campus of the University of Southern California Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday's session starts off with the men's hammer, as Ridgefield native and 2025 world championships team member Trey Knight (Paul Merca file photo) throws.

In the Saturday evening session, Washington alum Justin O'Toole, along with the Brooks Beasts trio of Teagan Schein-Becker, Laura Pellicoro, and Valery Tobias, are entered in the men's and women's 800.

College Place native Kenneth Rooks, the 2024 Olympic silver medalist, and Parker Stokes of the Brooks Beasts, are both in the 3000 steeplechase.

Matt Strangio, Allie Buchalski, and Kayley DeLay of the Brooks Beasts are all entered in the mens' and women's 5000 meters to conclude the Saturday session.

In Sunday's session, Brandon Miller and Josh Kerr of the Brooks Beasts will reprise their race from the LA Track Fest at UCLA two weeks ago where they went 1-3 in an exciting men's 800 meter race. Abe Alvarado of Under Armour, who split the two Beasts at UCLA three weeks ago, is also in the field.

Woodinville native Olivia Markezich, who was eleventh at the Bauhaus Galan Diamond League meet in Stockholm last week, is entered in the 3000 steeplechase.

Finally, Washington alum Gianna Woodruff, who attended grad school at USC, races in the final event of the LA Grand Prix, the 400 hurdles. She'll face a field that includes training partners Anna Cockrell and Dalilah Muhammad.

Saturday night's session will be streamed on USATF.tv ($), while Sunday's session will be televised by NBC Sports and streamed on Peacock starting at 1 pm Pacific.
