Allen & Woodruff run season best at Rabat Diamond League stop...

In Rabat, Morocco, former Renton resident Devon Allen (Paul Merca photo) finished fourth in the 110 hurdles at Sunday's Meeting International Mohammed VI d'Athletisme, the second stop of the season long Wanda Diamond League tour.

Competing in his second meet of the season after spending the fall as a wide receiver on the Philadelphia Eagles' practice squad, the Oregon alum ran a season best of 13.25, as Rasheed Broadbell of Jamaica, a semifinalist at the world championships in Eugene, was a mild upset winner, catching two-time world champion Grant Holloway near the line to win 13.08 to 13.12.

The race was called back twice for excessive crowd noise, as spectators ignored the requests of the public address announcer and the officials for quiet at the start.

Washington alum Gianna Woodruff of Panama finished sixth in the women's 400 hurdles in a season best 55.74.

American Shamier Little won in a time of 53.95.

The next stop on the Wanda Diamond League tour is in Florence, Italy on June 2nd.
