UW grad Jack Rowe fourth British finisher in Sunday's London Marathon...
In the midst of perhaps the greatest marathon race in history, in which the first two men: Kenya's Sabastian Sawa (1:59:30) and Ethiopia's Yomef Kejelcha (1:59:41) both broke two hours in Sunday's London Marathon, while Uganda's Jacob Kiplimo (2:00:28) also ducked under the accepted world record of 2:00:35 set by the late Kelvin Kiptum in 2023, Washington alum Jack Rowe (screenshot courtesy Puma Elite Running) finished 14th in the race.
Rowe, who ran at Washington in the 2019-20 season as a grad student, finished in a time of 2:07:47 in his second attempt at the marathon distance.
Rowe was the fourth British runner to finish the race.
